Carbo Bio Start 60

Carbo Bio Start 60 from Dennerle is the perfect CO2 fertilisation system for aquaria with a volume of up to 60 litres. It scores with its uncomplicated start-up and rapid CO2 production, which begins as early as 24-48 hours. A resistant CO2 hose and a specially designed CO2 Mini-Topper ensure efficient dissolution of the valuable CO2 in the aquarium water. Optionally, the system can also be connected to a Dennerle Corner Filter 40 or 60 using a CO2 Injector.

Carbon: the basis for healthy plant growth
Plants consist of almost half carbon. CO2 is their crucial nutrient for photosynthesis, producing sugars while releasing oxygen. In many aquaria, natural CO2 levels are too low, resulting in slow plant growth, algae problems and low oxygen levels. Regular addition of CO2 creates the natural basis for healthy plant growth, improved water quality and the prevention of algae growth.

CO2 production
The Carbo Bio Start 60 uses an all-natural bioreaction combined with CO2 Constant-Gel to ensure near-constant CO2 production per fill for at least 40 days. Unlike conventional systems that use household sugar, CO2 production is often erratic, which can lead to problems.
