Live Animal Transport – France Express

France Express – Live animal delivery (France mainland & Belgium)

• Dispatch days: Monday and Tuesday only — order must be validated before Monday 10:00 a.m. for same-week shipping.
• Transit time: delivery within 24 – 48 hours max, no weekend delivery.
• Conditions: secure transport, insulated packaging, cool packs in summer, and extra insulation in winter.
• Zones covered: mainland France only. No pick-up points available.
• Recipient presence required: recipient must be available during the indicated delivery window for hand-to-hand delivery.

Live animals are shipped separately from other items. Aquabota reserves the right to postpone dispatch in case of unfavorable weather conditions.

1.1 Special Cases & Delivery Reception

• Damage upon delivery: please issue a written note of reservation to the carrier at delivery time to enable replacement or refund.
• Wrong / incomplete address: if the address provided is incorrect or incomplete, no refund is possible. Reshipping costs remain at the customer’s expense.

1.2 Dispatch Days – Parcels Containing Live Plants

Dispatch only on the following days (cut-off 10 a.m.).
Example: for France, an order placed on Monday at 10:05 a.m. will be shipped the following week.

No plant shipments via Mondial Relay.

Belgium / Luxembourg / Netherlands

GLS – Home Delivery

Tracking information is sent by email once the parcel is handed over. You can modify the delivery address or choose a pickup point until midnight on the GLS website. If not received on the planned day, the parcel remains available for 10 days.

DPD – Home Delivery (France & Europe)

Fast and reliable parcel delivery service available throughout France and Europe. Tracking provided by email or SMS.

France (mainland only)

Other European Countries

Available for Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Czech Republic, and Poland.

Transit time: 2–5 business days depending on destination. Delivery attempts: 2. Parcels unclaimed after 7 days are automatically returned.

Colissimo – Home Delivery (France)

Colissimo delivers to your home in 48–72 hours. Signature may be required. Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking link by email.

Oversized or Pallet Delivery

Bulky items such as aquariums, stands, and heavy decorations are shipped by pallet (carrier: Kühne + Nagel or France Express Pallet Service). Delivery time: 3–7 business days.

• Appointment required for delivery.
• Delivery to street level only (no upstairs delivery).
• Please check goods upon arrival and note any damage on the delivery slip.

Returns & Warranty

• Return period: 14 calendar days after receipt (excluding live or perishable goods).
• Return process: send your request via email before returning any item to receive authorization and instructions.
• Warranty: manufacturer warranty applies for technical items (pumps, filters, lighting, etc.). Proof of purchase required.
• Excluded: live animals, plants, feed, fertilizers, and opened consumables.
