Hemp is a major contributor to the vitality and health of fish.
Hemp is an ideal vegetable source of protein, amino acids and unsaturated fatty acids (e.g. linoleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid). For example, hemp contains 65% globulin protein and 35% albumin protein. These can be particularly well absorbed and used by fish.
Hemp also contains many important minerals, such as sodium, manganese, zinc, copper, iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium and phosphorus. All these substances are essential for the health and longevity of the fish!
The organic hemp seeds come from the EU and the hemp variety used is naturally free of THC and pesticides.
