Behaviour & maintenance

A calm, gregarious species from East Asia (Japan, Korea, China) / breeding, it appreciates a stable, well-filtered, oxygenated aquarium. Provide a volume of at least 80 litres (group). Use starter bacteria and check your parameters regularly with water tests.

Diet

Omnivorous, this species accepts flakes, pellets and natural foods. Vary your ration with our specially adapted foods to support colour and vitality. For dense planting, consider aquarium fertilisers.
