Behavior & care

This peaceful, schooling species from Central America / tank-bred appreciates a stable, well-filtered and well-oxygenated aquarium. Provide a volume of at least 80 L (group). Use starter bacteria and regularly monitor your parameters with water tests.

Feeding

An omnivore, this species accepts flakes, pellets and natural foods. Vary the diet with our suitable foods to support coloration and vitality. In densely planted tanks, consider using aquarium fertilizers.
