Plant Care K by Dennerle is used when tap water is too soft because in that case the potassium content is too low. With Plant Care K, you provide potassium to your aquarium plants and fertilize the aquarium with the necessary amount of potassium.
Recommended usage:
First, over a period of several weeks, determine the amount of potassium needed for your aquarium by fertilizing with Plant Care K. This will inform you of the required weekly dose.
You can now add, by default, the weekly dose of Plant Care K you have calculated and gradually increase the measurement intervals to 2 to 4 weeks.
Make sure to use Plant Care K with a micronutrient fertilizer (iron fertilizer)! Dennerle Plant Care Pro provides a complete nutrient supply.
Dennerle also recommends performing a partial water change of 25 to 50% weekly to remove waste and inhibitors as well as to prevent any nutritional imbalance.
Dosage recommendation:
2 ml of Plant Care K per 100 liters of aquarium water increases potassium by 1 ml/L. For comparison: the optimal potassium concentration is 10 to 20 mg/L.
Plant Care K is suitable for both daily and weekly fertilization!
