A multitude of new creations will be possible with these amazing roots. Soaked in water for 24 hours, they are easy to handle.

The size of the elder roots varies from 10 to 30 cm. Please follow our recommendations to make the most of your landscaping: rinse the roots with water before using them. The roots should be secured during the initial installation to prevent buoyancy by using stones, anchors, tight wood, foam cotton, glue, etc., until the wood is completely soaked with water and sinks.

The roots can release tannins during the initial installation. Tannins give the water a cognac-like appearance, as occurs in natural rivers like the Amazon. You can control the amount of tannins in the water through frequent water changes. Tannins are not harmful to living organisms in the aquarium.

If you want to avoid tannins in the initial phase, you can boil the roots in water for a few hours to release as many tannins as possible. You can also soak the roots in water one month before using them in the aquarium.
