Reef Salt Sack in Box - 25 kg

Fully synthetic sea salt developed with coral breeding in mind. The salt’s composition is designed to create the best conditions for marine animals. It contains micro and macro elements that fully meet the needs of corals for proper growth and coloration. The salt does not contain bromides and can be used during ozone filtration. When setting up a new aquarium, we recommend introducing the first animals only 10-14 days after filling.

Preparation method: the salt should be dissolved in previously prepared demineralised water. The water temperature should be around 24°C (75°F). To achieve a salinity of 33 ppt, dissolve approximately 3.8 kg (8.4 lbs) of salt in 100 l (27 US gal.) of water. The solution should be mixed vigorously for about 15 minutes. Aquaforest recommends maintaining salinity between 33 and 35 ppt. Once fully dissolved and crystal clear, the salted water is ready for use. The salt should be stored in a dry place, away from light and moisture. The dissolved salt should be used within 48 hours.
