Aphyosemion bivittatum Funge is a superb variety of killifish native to Cameroon. It is distinguished by its bluish to greenish hues streaked with red lines and its delicately coloured fins. A hardy and relatively easy species, it is perfectly suited to calm, well-planted aquariums.

1. Behaviour & care

A peaceful species but slightly territorial amongst males; should be kept in pairs or trios (1 male to 2 females). Prefers densely planted tanks with plenty of hiding places and subdued lighting. A lid is essential, as this fish is an excellent jumper.

3. Feeding
