FZN PRO 400

The FZN PRO external filter from Aquael is a cascade filter suitable for use in marine and freshwater aquariums. It impresses with its versatility and impressive features.

With the FZN PRO, you don't have to wait long for the filter to work at full capacity; it starts working as soon as it is plugged in and does not need to be pre-filled with water. Even if the power supply is interrupted, the filter immediately starts up when the power flows again. All FZN PRO, except for the FZN PRO 400, have an adjustable suction tube so that the length can be precisely adjusted to the tank, which is particularly useful for unusual aquarium sizes. Using the adjustment knob on top of the housing, the filter's performance can be continuously adjusted thanks to a circular regulator, allowing the ideal positioning and proper water level to be set.

Particularly practical: Because the FZN PRO motor is located below the water surface, it is very quiet; the largest model has a noise level of only 32 dB, which is equivalent to a soft whisper. The filter outlet is level with the water surface and produces a fine sound, no bubbling. Additionally, all contact points between the aquarium glass and the filter housing are covered with rubber to reduce vibrations and prevent bumps or jolts.

The filter chamber can be filled with bulk materials, for example, layered, as is usual with cascade filters. Alternatively, pre-fabricated cartridges that fit into the filter containers can be used.

The FZN PRO consists exclusively of non-corrosive components, making it very durable. The energy-saving motor is also characterized by minimal energy consumption. The filter gains even more points because it is easy to clean: the housing cover is easy to open, the rotor and filter sponge are easily accessible, so cleaning is quick and uncomplicated.
