Known for its ability to trap ammonia, zeolite can help you correct filtration problems (ammonia build-up, nitrites, etc.).
Particle size: 4 - 8 mm.
The material can be regenerated with kitchen salt (100 g salt per litre of water for 24 hours, rinse well afterwards). 

Use: as a permanent biological filter mass.
As a temporary filter mass to solve nitrite or ammonia problems (after a treatment for example).
As an ideal substrate for planting and especially for the upper zones of lagoons.
Quantity of zeolite required: minimum 1 Kg of zeolite per m3 of water to be treated.
