Origin:

  • Natural Habitat: Endemic to the coastal regions of the southeastern United States, particularly in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.

General Description:

  • Type: Perennial herbaceous carnivorous plant.
  • Appearance: Appears as clumps of upright trumpet-shaped leaves.
  • Size: Mature individuals can reach up to 60 to 90 cm in height.

Leaves:

  • Shape: Trumpet-shaped, often slightly recurved upwards.
  • Color: Ranges from green to dark purple to almost black.
  • Texture: Smooth and shiny surface, with numerous veins and a slightly serrated edge.

Flowers:

  • Flowering Period: Typically in spring.
  • Appearance: Solitary, large umbrella-shaped flowers, bright yellow to yellow-green in color.

Cultivation Conditions:
