Hypancistrus sp. L262 is native to the Rio Tapajós (Brazil). Its dark body punctuated by light spots gives it an elegant appearance. This rare species is appreciated for its peaceful behaviour and moderate size.

A calm, nocturnal species that is territorial with its fellow fish. Minimum 150 L aquarium with roots, cavities and moderate current. Well-filtered water rich in oxygen is essential.
