The Otocinclus affinis is a freshwater cleaner fish native to South America. Highly appreciated for its effectiveness against algae, it is perfect for planted aquariums and calm community tanks.
1. Behaviour & maintenance
A gregarious, calm species that should be kept in groups of at least 5 individuals. It prefers a well-planted tank rich in microalgae, with a good current and well-oxygenated water. Very sensitive to nitrite and water quality.
