HS aqua Carbon Superactiv S, Carbon Superactiv L are adsorbent filter materials. They adsorb (bind) toxic substances such as ammonia and drug residues. After a few weeks or even months the filter materials are saturated. They should therefore be replaced.

HS aqua Carbon Activ S and Carbon Activ L consist of high-quality activated carbon. HS aqua Carbon Activ L is generally used to remove odours from the water and to remove discolouration and toxins. If you are looking for an extremely high adsorption capacity, we advise you to use HS aqua Carbon Superactiv L.
